We offer 2 types of abseiling adventures ->
OPTION 1 – Abseiling Experience – We set you up, teach you the basics and you get to experience what abseiling feels like, outside on a real mountain! Cost is R500 per person, with a minimum group size of 4 people. Venue is near Krugersdorp (KingsKloof). Duration is 2-3hrs. Excludes entry permit to Kingskloof (R50pp).
OPTION 2 – Abseiling Skills Course – If you would like to eventually learn how to abseil with your own gear and with your own friends… This is a MUST DO skills course for you. This course is done at CityROCK where we can run through theory, skills and set up “problems” to solve. Cost R250 per person, for group lessons (2-4 people), 2 hours. Or R400 for private 1 on 1 lessons. Duration is 1.5 hours.
*Includes gear hire (harness and climbing shoes)
**Excludes entry fee to CityROCK (check out their entry cost on https://cityrock.co.za/prices/). No charge for spectators/visitors.
Will I be able to do it? – Abseiling is a great beginner friendly mountain adventure. No need to worry if your scared of heights – your guide is professionally trained and will show you how to be comfortable and in control.
What do I need to bring?
Abseil Experience – Good shoes, comfortable clothes. Some water, snacks and your best mountain smile.
Abseil Skills Course – Any climbing and abseiling gear you might own. We will also bring along a whole host of gear for you to learn and build confidence with any abseil device.
What equipment do you provide? – We will provide you with all the specialised harnesses and hardware that you will need to have a safe and adventurous day out.
What days and times can I book? – Available during week days, weekends or holidays. Morning, midday, afternoon or evening sessions. Contact Ryan to book the time and day that suits you.
